Ensuring trouble-free operation for years

Your Breville Juice Fountain® Plus is a quality appliance. The best materials were used in making it, and it was carefully engineered to let you enjoy your fresh fruit and vegetable juices for years to come.

However, as with any machine, you have to look after it a little to make sure it can operate as it is intended to. Please follow our care tips below.

Routine Maintenance

1.For easy cleaning -- immediately after each use rinse removable parts under running water (to remove wet pulp). Allow parts to air dry.

To assist with cleaning, soak the stainless steel filter basket in hot soapy water for approximately 10 minutes immediately after juicing is completed. If pulp is left to dry on the filter, it may clog the fine pores of the filter mesh, thereby lessening the effectiveness of the juicer.
2.After disassembling the unit all removable parts may be washed in hot soapy water.

NOTE: Before washing Juice Jug, remove Froth Separator and rinse under running water.
3.The Juice Fountain® Juicer Cover, Filter Bowl Surround, Pulp Container, Stainless Steel Filter Basket and 1L Juice Jug are dishwasher-safe (top shelf only).
4.Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
5.For consistent juicing results always ensure that the Stainless Steel Filter Basket is thoroughly cleaned. Using the supplied nylon brush, hold the Filter Basket under running water and brush from the inside of the basket to outer rim. After cleaning the Filter Basket, hold it up toward a light to ensure the fine mesh holes are not blocked.

If the holes are blocked, soak the Filter Basket in hot water with 10% lemon juice to loosen the blocked holes.

Alternatively, wash the Filter Basket in the top shelf of any dishwasher.

NOTE: Always treat the filter basket with care as it can be easily damaged. Do not soak the stainless steel filter basket in bleach.

NOTE: Discoloration of the plastic may occur with strongly colored fruit and vegetables. To help prevent this, wash parts immediately after use. If discoloration does occur, the plastic parts can be soaked in 10% lemon juice and water or they can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner.
